First Insurance Group was formed in 1991 and expanded in 1993 and has operated as First Insurance Group since that time. They have been happy to serve their customers with all their personal, commercial, life and group benefits through the years.
Recently, First Insurance Group was approached by Swallows Insurance based out of Cookeville, TN. Swallows has been in business since 1956 and is a third generation, locally owned and operated business. Matt Swallows, Bill Dodson and Jeff Brown have agreed to an acquisition of First Insurance Group by Swallows this year and transition fully to operate under the Swallows umbrella as of 2027.
What does this mean for you-the customer? You can expect the same great service that you have received as First Insurance customers. Partnering with Swallows will enable First Insurance to offer even more products for competitive rates and exceptional coverage. You will see the same great team of people that you are accustomed to seeing with First Insurance Group at the same location.
